Schuhbauers am Dom in Freising

It all started with bread and some olive oil, as if you had suspected that the guests would not be satisfied with small portions. In addition, wine spritzer, which was heavily diluted compared to the other restaurants. Zander was frozen to our liking, watery and no more than 10 cm in size. The sauce was salty, tasted like flavor enhancement and the whole dish was warmed up so that a thin layer was visible on top. For the price, I think it's outrageous. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

Had a special day to celebrate yesterday. That's why we wanted to do it spontaneously in the Schubauers am Dom. So I went to the home page to reserve a table. Reservation on the same day ?! No chance. Then the other option, handset in hand. But that is only possible for the answering machine with the reference to the online reservation. What the heck, we just went up the mountain in the hope that a place will be free. Once at the top, the sign indicates that you should wait here, you will be led to a table. A waitress noticed us and left it at that with a friendly "Somebody's coming soon". This was followed by more utterances of the same kind from different superiors / attendants. So while we simmered in our own juice for at least 5 minutes (felt like 1/2 hour) in the stuffy anteroom, we made the last attempt and called to the man at the counter whether there were any places left. I think the willing reader of these lines already suspects it - no reaction. So we're back down the mountain without having achieved anything In the tried and tested Kathi's steak house. The evening was saved .....

We had a wonderful dinner here for my husband’s birthday. Sure, this place is a bit more expensive than your average Biergarten, but it is so much better. We had beef Tartar, Entrecôte, Ravioli, and creme brûlée, aperitifs, and a bottle of wine for €115 and every bit was fantastic. For the atmosphere and the food, we actually found it to be very reasonable.

Very, very nice ambience, the food mostly very tasty, but still not a good price-performance ratio. In the pulp salad you looked for the pieces (there were 3 :-(), tomatoes predominated - the whole thing small and clear a 16 EUR, the Wiener Schnitzel tasted strongly of roast fat, the rest was OK, even if the portions were meager If you want to be full, you need at least 3 courses ...

For everyone who likes to eat an absolute MUST !!

Excellent food and outstanding service! I had a salad with goat cheese, a risotto and a „Bayerisch Creme“ as a desert. For sure, this restaurant is a bit pricey, but it’s definitely worth it concerning the taste! I liked the design of the location and also the discreet background music. It seems as they have a well-stocked wine list, although I decided to drink beer during my visit. Various cocktails are offered in their bar menu. I definitely will return and probably try a wine next time with the food!

Very nicely renovated and a nice beer garden with a view of the old town. Interested card that we will try soon.

Very good food. The level is very high and therefore the price is fully justified. The staff is very friendly and extremely attentive. The service is more than perfect! Simply successful all around and always happy on special occasions! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

If you really want to be pampered in the Freising area, this place is a must! The experienced landlord, who also runs the Oberwirt in Kirchdorf, draws on culinary delights here. Sensational dishes, excellent wines and cocktails, really exceptionally good. How can it be in summer when you let your gaze wander from the Domberg over Freising on the spacious terrace? We'll be back, guaranteed. Prices are commensurate with the exquisite quality and ambience. Treat yourself to a visit here!

Had reserved online for Valentine's Day, as there was no extra menu ... Since I saw on the web today that on 14.02. I only called a single menu, I called: there is only this meat menu, no changes possible ... When I said that I didn't eat meat, I was only told that they had very good meat .. 🙄😖 .. Without words ... Then don't stop. Have now received a call that there is a vegetarian alternative ... 🤔

Delicious food and excellent service. In my opinion, if not the best restaurant in Freising. In a very nice location. Admittedly not very cheap, but price-performance is definitely given here. Recommended for special occasions.

Great food, nice service and a relaxed atmosphere despite the high standard of the dishes. 1 point deduction due to the increasing volume of music from the bar area, which made any communication at late hours almost impossible.
